- VENTILATION! Air circulation is the key when it comes to preventing mold in your trailer. Open all windows, doors and vents to ventilate as much as possible. Even if you are using furnace, keep your roof vents at least halfway open.
- Fix any water leaks in pipes, roof leaks, and damaged caulking.
- Check if you have any air leaks and fix them.
- Keep all surfaces dry and clean.
- When cooking, washing dishes and taking shower, make sure to use vent fan and open window whenever possible.
- Cover pots and pans when cooking.
- Do not dry your clothes inside your trailer, especially towels and swimming suits.
- Avoid carpets or consider removing your existing carpeting.

- Keep the humidity levels between 30 and 50 %. Use indoors humidity monitor to control the humidity.
