I get calls often asking for mold air quality testing. This testing is often unreliable and should never be used without a comprehensive mold inspection. A proper mold inspection conducted by an ACAC certified inspector can typically determine the cause and correction of mold problems, without air testing.
Beware of people who offer free mold testing, they are not qualified to do mold inspections, and often are trying to see unneeded remediation.
Get your property inspected for mold, and spend your money on getting rid of the source, rather than air testing.
Mold testing may be warranted if you have mold illness symptoms, or are in a real estate issue. But the test recommend is often not air testing.
